캔디 근처의 숨은 보물 - 로얄 보태닉 가든 Royal Botanic Garden near Kandy

스리랑카의 고대 도시 캔디. 유네스코 세계문화유산 등재 도시이지만, 사실 캔디 안에는 볼 것이 많이 없어요. 불치사 빼고는요.. 

그치만 주변에는 가볼 곳이 좀 있어요. 로열 보태닉 가든도 그 중 하나죠. 외국인 입장료는 1100루피, (약 8800원) 이고, 보태닉 가든 입구 건너편에 주차장이 있어요. 무료에요. 장애인 아저씨가 와서 돈 달라고는 해요. 

입장하면 처음에 나오는 곳이 난초원 인데요, 예쁜 난들이 종류별로 있어요. 

Ancient city Kandy, registered in UNESCO. But, there's not much to see inside Kandy, except the city itself is beautiful with lake in the middle, and the temple of tooth. There're more to see around Kandy, Royal Botanic Garden is also one of them. Entrance fee for foreigners is 1100 Rupees, (around USD 8) and there's a parking place across the street from main entrance, it's free but there'll be always local disabled man asking for money. 

When you first enter, there you can see orchid garden.  

Beautiful Garden. 

커피와 식사를 할 수 있는 작은 카페테리아가 있었어요. 커피를 마셨는데 약 2500원 정도 였습니다.

박쥐가 대롱대롱 매달려 있는 나무들도 있어요. 

줌인으로 찍은거니 길 가면서는 이렇게 자세히 보이진 않아요. 그저 박쥐똥이 바닥에 흩어져 있을뿐. 

There's one place with millions of bats. The whole trees are covered with bats, I zoomed in the camera to take this shot so you can't watch them this closer, you can only see the bat shits all over the ground. 

대나무숲도 간간히 보이는데요, 팬더가 없는게 의아했어요... 팬더가 살기엔 너무 더운가봐요. 

The bamboo trees... I wish they have Pandas too .

강을 보며 건너는 다리... 오래되었답니다. 

건너는 인원도 제한을 둬서 줄 서서 기다렸다가 건너고 그랬어요.

There was a limit in number of people crossing at the same time. 

막 흔들려서 사실 살짝 무서웠습니다. 

It was quite scary, it's shaking!
